The Urban Square is a mixed use commercial development which is part of the 75 Acre Pioneer Park Township in Gurugram, Delhi's main business suburb.
The four building complex has offices, retail and a common basement for two levels of underground parking and state of the art utilities.
The complex uses all sustainable green building systems in its’ Architectural and Electro-mechanical systems.
Staggered shaded landscape terraces, which are office
breakout spaces, look out on each court.
The striking facade is composed of a system of staggered floor to ceiling windows and stone panels. The rhythmic patterns and textures established by this composition and materials is reminiscent of traditional geometrics and shading screen patterns.
The spatial quality and scale of the courts is controlled to maximise shading of courtyard facade glass and to create an intimate space which recalls the space and scale of urban mixed use structures.
